The collection offered a variety of trans-seasonal outfits. The designers with the aspire to re-invent the swadeshi garment presented a more glamorous interpretation with their showcasing.

The collection ranged from gold laminated khadi blouse and sari, kurta, joggers, palazzo pants, pavadai skirts, dresses, salwar pants and jackets. The color palette made a transition from metallic colors like gold, to black, copper and coffee. Classic cuts and prints dominated the silhouettes. The highlight of the entire show was the stitched saree with a blouse having peter pan collars.

A rich and royal collection, the designers delivered their royal and classic touch to this spring summer collection.

Dark shades and geometric designs were the stars of this show. We absolutely adored the slight tweaking of the age-old conventional Indian silhouettes to fit into the modern women.

Abraham and Thakore worked with the standard khadi and modified it with swatches of silver and gold. Typical of the designers, the collection lay somewhere between the traditional and the contemporary with sarees draped to have thigh high slits.
